These ingots are subsequently forged or rolled, transforming into diverse forms such as plates, strips, bars, and sections with varying cross-sectional profiles. Typically, carbon steel is utilized in its hot-rolled state. However, for the manufacturing of precision tools and specialized machine parts, it undergoes tailored heat treatments to meet specific requirements. Most steel castings also benefit from specialized heat treatments, significantly enhancing their properties.
