The classification of ordinary hot-rolled steel bars involves HRB followed by their minimum yield point. Here, H stands for Hot-rolled, R for Ribbed, and B for Bars. The hot-rolled ribbed steel bars are categorized into three distinct grades: HRB335 (formerly 20MnSi) as secondary grade, HRB400 (formerly 20MnSiV, 20MnSiNb, 20Mnti) as third grade, and HRB500 as fourth grade.
