The rapidly advancing technology of oxygen top-blow converters is now emerging as a superior alternative to traditional open hearth furnaces. The refined liquid steel is meticulously poured into ingot molds to produce various ingot forms. Once these ingots are forged or rolled, they are expertly transformed into plates, strips, bars, and sections of diverse shapes. Carbon steel is often utilized directly in its hot-rolled state. For manufacturing tools and specific machine parts, a tailored heat treatment is applied to meet precise requirements. Additionally, most steel castings undergo heat treatment to enhance their properties.
