Post refining, the liquid steel is poured into ingot molds to form various ingot shapes. These ingots are subsequently forged or rolled into plates, strips, bars, and an array of sectional shapes. Carbon steel is often utilized directly in its hot rolled state. For crafting tools and machine parts, specific heat treatments are applied as per usage requirements. Additionally, most steel castings undergo heat treatment to ensure durability and performance.
