Typically, the production processes and specifications of hot-dipped galvanized steel sheets and coils are fundamentally aligned. The hot-dip galvanizing process, which applies a protective zinc coating to steel or iron sheets, effectively combats rust. The self-sacrificing nature of zinc imparts extraordinary anti-corrosion properties, superior paintability, and excellent processability. This process allows for the customization of zinc coating thickness, with the capacity to achieve substantial layers up to a maximum of 275g/m2. The final product can be classified into either zero spangle or extra smooth categories, contingent on whether the sheet undergoes skin pass treatment.
