Hot Dipped Galvanized Steel Sheet in Coil (GI) is meticulously crafted by passing the Full Hard sheet, which has already undergone an intensive acid washing and rolling process, through a zinc pot. This process infuses the surface with a robust zinc film, endowing it with superior corrosion resistance, excellent paintability, and exceptional workability due to the inherent properties of zinc. Typically, the production processes and specifications of hot-dipped galvanized steel sheets and coils are fundamentally aligned. The hot-dip galvanizing process, which applies a protective zinc coating to steel or iron sheets, effectively combats rust. The self-sacrificing nature of zinc imparts extraordinary anti-corrosion properties, superior paintability, and excellent processability. This process allows for the customization of zinc coating thickness, with the capacity to achieve substantial layers up to a maximum of 275g/m2. The final product can be classified into either zero spangle or extra smooth categories, contingent on whether the sheet undergoes skin pass treatment.
